I just lately became a primary time grandmother and have been enjoying the new little addition to our family. I am also an avid crafter and seamstress so I may many times be found in my craft and sewing room creating a great deal of fantasti things for my friends and family.

With the new addition of the baby girl to our family, I decisive I wanted to make numerous homemade baby bibs. I thought the procedure would be difficult, but once I got started…I realized how easy it was to construct my own bibs for our grand-daughter.

Here are the furnishes you will need:

1 pre-purchased terry cloth bib to use as a pattern

1 package of double fold bias tape (2 yard package), per bib

sewing machine

sewing thread

1/4 yard of cotton terry cloth fabric

Scissors

Miscellaneous sewing supplies

Note: If you actually want to be frugal, you may recycle a good deal of old terry cloth bath towels for this project.

Lay your pre-purchased baby bib down on a piece of white paper and trace around the shape using a pencil, then cut out your paper pattern. Next, unroll your bias tape and cut off a piece measuring 34″ in length. Pin your paper pattern down onto your terry cloth fabric and pin into place. Cut around the paper pattern and then remove the pins. Cover and pin the tape around the raw edges of the sides and bottom of your bib, don’t cover the neck area just yet.

Using your sewing machine, stitch the tape into place and firmly attach off. Cut another piece of tape measuring approximately 26″ long. Attach the center of the bias tape to the center neck area of the bib, pin into place. (note: a piece of bias tape regarding 10″ long is left at both ends of the neck edge for the ties.) Using your sewing machine, stitch around the neck opening so that you are attaching and covering the raw edges.

You may use your pre-purchased one as a guide on how it will have to be sewn.

Decorations: If desired, you may use 3/4″ wide eyelet lace rather of bias tape in step one of the sewing, but you will still need to use a coordinating color of bias tape for the neck area and ties. You may embroider a name or nice design onto the front of the bib or buy galore cute iron-on applique’s.

I’d add a picture but can’t figure out how to do so. They’re so awesome because…

1. they are EASY to apply
2. they do not require special tools to apply or remove
3. they can be repositioned multiple times – great for a perfectionist
4. they really do peel off without leaving any residue
5. they are colorful but muted – great for those who want to avoid harsh primary colors
6. they add so much color to your walls – you won’t have to buy many different colors of paint
7. they’re more detailed than any stencil you could use
8. they offer a lot of variety
9. they make your child’s room look like you made a serious effort
10. they are the ultimate accessory for plain walls especially if you don’t want to paint

Delregno
These wall stickers are such a great idea. We purchased them for our son’s first “big boy room” and they worked out great. It was so easy to put them up and move them around, and really made his room come alive without the hassle and time of having to paint.

3 of 3 people found the following review helpful.
I was not disappointed!
By K. Kuras
I bought these transportation stickers for my baby boy’s room and it really makes the room! The detail and color is fantastic! The price for what you get (amount of stickers and quality) is great. I did not have a big budget for decorating her (and her brother’s) room so after tons of research, I chose these RoomMates stickers and I was not disappointed! I was able to remove and reposition them several times.

A few things to keep in mind:
These stickers are printed on a clear background so whatever color your walls are, it will show through slightly. My son has blue walls but this did not affect the clarity of the mural at all.

The stickers are super thin, so be careful when peeling them off of the paper! Make sure the sticky side does not stick to itself and that you do not tear them as you remove them.

Make sure you start with a clean wall to ensure these don’t peel off over time. Also clean hands will keep dirty fingerprints from sticking. Lastly, try to keep these on interior walls of your house. Meaning, not on window walls or walls where the outside is on the other side. The temperature change in the wall might cause these to unpeel.

Yes, these arrive folded up in a small package, but even though there were fold marks on the castle and some of the other stickers- this does NOT affect the sticker at all! You do not have to try to flatten it out before you apply to the wall, like someone said. The stickers are so very thin that the folding makes no impact. There are no fold marks because it is just rolled and slightly flattened to fit in the package. This is a non-issue though.

If you are looking for a quick and inexpensive craft project to make this holiday season, I think this one will suit your needs. You may make various of these snowman embellishments up in just one afternoon. All of the materials and furnishes that you need are effortlessly available for buy at your local craft supply store.

Materials Needed

wooden ice cream sundae spoons

scrap piece of fabric (scarf)

scrap piece of black crafting foam (hat)

small pea-sized ball orange Sculpey Clay

scrap of embroidery floss (hanging cord)

scissors

all-purpose quick-drying crafting glue

wooden toothpick

paint brush

white and black acrylic paint

water dish and paper towels

several sheets of newspaper

Note: Since you will be painting, place assorted sheets of newspaper down onto your work surface. Use the water bowl and paper towels to clean your paint brush when altering colors.

How To Make The Nose: Roll a little amount of orange Sculpey Clay amidst your fingers until it measures the size of a green pea. Gently shape this ball into a triangular shaped cone measuring 1/4″ in length. Place nose on a baking sheet in a 200 degree oven and bake for approximately 10 minutes or according to package directions. Baking on low heat causes the clay to harden.

Step 1: Paint your wooden sundae spoon white. Once it has dried, flip it over and paint the back side. Depending on the brand of paint that you use, you might have to give it two coats of paint.

Step 2: Using the end of your paint brush, dot on 2 round circles to represent eyes. Using the end of the toothpick, dot on 3 little dots for his mouth and 3 little dots down his belly to represent black buttons. Flip the toothpick over and dip it into the white paint and add a dot to the center of each eye to add depth. Glue your clay carrot shaped nose onto his face.

Step 3: Draw a top hat shape onto a scrap piece of black craft foam and cut it out. Make a loop and tie a knot with a scrap piece of embroidery thread. Place a glob of glue onto the top of your sundae stick and lay the knotted end of your floss on top. Add another glob of glue and attach his black foam top hat.

Step 4: Cut a 1/4″ by 4″ piece from fabric and tie this fabric around his neck to make a scarf. If your ends are too long, trim them with scissors.

Welcome to the terrifi world of knitting! Even if you’ve been here for a while, there is always something new in regards to this most arousing and attention holding craft!

Let me begin by introducing you to the five stitch types that I believe are at the very heart of knitting!

Learning to knit, you know, is not one thing more than learning dissimilar knitting stitch types.

Wherever I roam on the Web, a great deal of of the same questions arise. Over and over again, I come all over forums and discussions with the same types of concerns.

In this article, I will try to explain a heap of of the basic knitting stitches and everything they encompass.

I will talk in regards to ‘the knit stitch’, ‘the purl stitch’, ‘knit 2 together’, ‘yarn-over’, and the ‘stockinette stitch’.

These five stitches, I believe, form the very foundation of knitting. Learn, and perfect, each one of these, and you will be well on your way to getting an expert in knitting!

All other patterns emerge from these few stitches. So, let’s begin!

‘The Knit Stitch’. Have you ever looked at something knitted? I mean, genuinely looked? If you have, you will see one side of the knitting looks dissimilar from the other.

Knitting follows structures. The knit stitch is formed by making loops which interweave with one another; one after another.

The knit stitch will resemble little “v” patterns when viewed from the knit side of a pattern.

To form a “knit stitch” you use one needle to pull a loop of yarn through the existent stitch on the other needle. (You may knit with more than two needles, but that’s a discussion for another day.)

Holding both needles in your hands, insert the right needle, from “front to back” into the primary stitch on the left needle. Keeping the yarn at the back, fetch it “over” the tip of the needle, counterclockwise. Pull the yarn down, and catch it with the right needle.

Slip the “old” stitch off the left needle and you have a new stitch on the right needle! A knit stitch!

Many times you will be told the knit stitch is the “right side” or RS of your work. But, once in a while, it will be the “wrong side” or WS.

Either way, it’s good to recognise those two abbreviations.

‘The Purl Stitch’. The purl stitch will resemble what looks like “brick-face” when viewed from the purl side of a pattern.

Unlike the knit stitch, with the purl stitch, you hold the yarn to the “front” of your knitting.

Insert the right needle from “back to front” into the initial stitch on the left needle. With your right index finger, wrap yarn counterclockwise around and down the right needle.

Draw the right needle and yarn backwards through the “old” stitch. Slip off the old stitch. A new stitch forms. A purl stitch!

‘Knit 2 Together.’ Now, this is easy! Just knit two together! Insert the right needle into the second stitch from the tip of the left needle, making sure to “catch” the initial stitch with it.

Bring your yarn over and up, then down, catch your yarn, slip the old stitches off, and you have a new stitch in their place.

You will have only one new stitch from two. Knitting two together is often times employed to decrease stitches or to develop an open-work pattern.

‘Yarn-over’. Adding a yarn-over, or YO, is also applied when creating open-work designs. To do a yarn-over after a knit stitch, just fetch your yarn all over your work from the back to the front. Then, knit the next stitch.

You will see an extra “stitch” on the row. When you come to that stitch in your next row of knitting, it will not look anchored like the others. That’s because you put it there, all of itself.

Knit it like you would knit any stitch. As you go, you will see that yarn-overs manufacture “holes” or openwork designs in your knitting.

‘Stockinette Stitch’. This stitch is knitting’s most common. All it comprises of is knitting one row, then purling the next, and so on, and so on.

The stockinette stitch is precisely where each knitter will have to begin. And stick with it until you know your stitches well!

So there you have it! *5* most standard knitting stitch types!

If you are looking for a quick and inexpensive craft project to make this holiday season, I think this one will suit your needs. You may make various of these snowman embellishments up in just one afternoon. All of the materials and furnishes that you need are effortlessly available for buy at your local craft supply store.

Materials Needed

wooden ice cream sundae spoons

scrap piece of fabric (scarf)

scrap piece of black crafting foam (hat)

small pea-sized ball orange Sculpey Clay

scrap of embroidery floss (hanging cord)

scissors

all-purpose quick-drying crafting glue

wooden toothpick

paint brush

white and black acrylic paint

water dish and paper towels

several sheets of newspaper

Note: Since you will be painting, place various sheets of newspaper down onto your work surface. Use the water bowl and paper towels to clean your paint brush when altering colors.

How To Make The Nose: Roll a little amount of orange Sculpey Clay amid your fingers until it measures the size of a green pea.

Decide on which size of flag you will be building a flag display case (fdc) for.

3′x5′, 4′x6′, 5′x9′ (burial)

Measure the folded flag. For this example we will use the 5×9 burial flag.

You will need the bottom (horizontal) measurement,

along with the two diagonal measurements. Also get

the thickness of the folded flag.

*  bottom  msmt:  24″

*  diagonal  msmt:  16  3/4  “

*  thickness:  2  3/4  “

Decide on the type of wood you will be using, for this example, we will use oak.

A 1×4 piece of oak in truth measures 3 1/2 in

width, which is fine. Buy an 8′ length. (for be-

ginners, in case there are mistakes)

Seeing that our flag is triangular in shape, we will

cut the angles on a 45 degree. You may do this with a

circular saw or a chop saw (mitre saw). Chop saws

give a much better cut.

The bottom measurement of our flag is 24″. So our

inside measurement of our 45 degree cuts will have to be

at least 24″. I commend cutting the length of board at 24 1/4″

(little play room for glass and flag)

You must have approx. 6′ of board left. As you know,

wood has a grain pattern. These next steps will give your case

a more professional appearance.

Measure off the longest part of the angled 6′ board

(that’s your long point of that peculiar angle, the

other is the short point of that queer angle.)

Your angled measurements are 16 3/4″.short point

to short point. However, you will be cutting it 3″

longer than that, (for mistakes). So let’s just cut

our side pieces 20″ long. short to short.

Measure off the 6′ board from long point 20″, using a

speed square or framing square, make a mark and cut

your piece. (set this piece aside)

The longer remaining piece must have a short point.

Your goal to be attained now is to turn that piece around 180

degrees, and cut the short point again in order to

make it a long point.

Once you do this, your two 45 degree angles at the top

of the display case will fit and the grain will match.

It will look continuous. (match up all the angled

pieces until you find that grain match)

When you place the bottom piece up to the angled side

pieces to form the triangle you will observe that the

side pieces are too long. Just pencil mark the bottom

where it hangs over the bottom piece. That now is going

to be cut at a 45 degree. Make sure you cut the 45

degree angle the rectify way. Your end product should

be a short to short angled piece.

When you are marking the piece to be cut, also mark

the side of the board so you recognise for sure, which way

the wood will have to be cut.

Tack the frame together or use a strap to hold it in

position.

Measure the size of glass you will need.

We may measure the glass in two ways:

(1) -The precise size, minus 1/8th inch. (if you are going

to place a wooden corner cover over the glass and

attach it to the frame.) OR

(2) – The glass may be measured 1/4″ more prominent if it is going to be inserted into the frame.

Buy an 8′ piece of wooden corner board.

(for outside corners of walls) It is 3/4″ long on each

side of the 45 degree angle. Cut this to fit the

outside (facing) of the triangular frame you just made.

You may insert the glass from the back side after the

outside wooden corner’s are nailed on. Then you may cut and place 3

pieces of 1/4 “x 1/4″ molding on the inside to hold

the glass in place.

Inset glass involves using a table saw.

Set your table saw guide to 1/4″ from the inside of the saw blade to the guide itself.

Set the depth of the blade to 1/8th inch.

– If you know at the beginning that you will be insetting the glass, then cut the entire 8′ length of board at one time. It’s very difficult to cut little pieces like this and have it turn out correctly.

– If you have never employed a table saw, ask an individual with experience to carry out this next step.—

Take the piece or pieces and with the table saw in operation, tardily guide the piece along the guide, making sure not too strength the cut. Be gentle. It’s wise to use a forked stick to push the wood through the cutting process.

There are jigs that may be purchased for just this job. Call a do-it-yourself place. They may aid you

Once you have your cuts made, you are ready to nail it together.

Use little trim nails (1 1/4″) long and nail frame together. With glass inserted into the cut grooves you just made.(Set nails with punch and color putty when done)

This is much more comfortable if you have a brad gun. also place the frame so the glass is face down so it doesn’t break if it falls out for the duration of this process.

Take the frame and place it on a great deal of 3/16th luon (lew-on or oak paneling)

and trace the outside of your frame. Cut this out for the backing of your display case. (Stain edges with the proper color. For oak, you may use Minwax-Colonial Maple or Early American.)

You may drill when it comes to 8 pilot holes through the 3/16″ luon into the wood frame. (On the Back Side) for screws. Insert your burial flag. Insert your screws.

–That’s a rap folks–your project is done.

Most of the young boys tend to like Thomas the Tank Engine, the little engine that does so much by himself or with the others. The older kids and adults think he’s just a cute little train, but the younger ones love him. The next time you have a party for the little ones, they may make their own Thomas the Tank Engine using just paper (preferably construction), scissors, glue, and crayon or markers.

After you print the template, the children must color the pieces according to the following color scheme:

o #1 red on the bottom and gray on top

o #2 blue

o #3 and #4 black

o #5 and #6 black on the inside and yellow on the rim

o #7 gray

After all pieces have been colored, cut them out. The children may need adult supervision for this and may be done prior to craft time. If you do cut them before coloring, place a roll of masking tape on the back and tape lightly to a newspaper or other paper surface.

You might want to consider doing one of the projects before you undertake to do one with various young kids so that they may see what it will look like when it is finished. The steps to completion are as follows:

o Glue #2 on top of #1

o Glue #3 on top of #2

o Glue #4 under #2

o Glue #5 and #6 on each side of #3

o Glue #7 on top of the everything

You may do this craft as share of a party or just as something for the children to do when they cannot be outside.

Nothing fills children’s time better than distinctive arts & crafts projects. Hands on activenesses such as these promote ability to create as well as little and big motor skills. Children likewise learn how to coordinate themselves and follow directions.

Insect Projects

Kids and insects go hand in hand. Rare is the child that shies away from ants, ladybugs or spiders, as they are plainly curious regarding their world and all that populate it. What better way to draw on this spirit of adventure and curiosity than by completing an insect project!

The Butterfly Mobile is distinguishable in that it does not just feature butterflies, but their life cycle as well. This adds another dimension to the child’s learning. Items necessitated are assorted sheets of dissimilar colored construction paper, a gift tag, scissors, pencil, glue, string (or yarn), paper plate, markers, paint or crayons, and tape (or stapler).

The base of this project is the paper plate. Cut a spiral circle out of the plate, and then embellish it with the crayons, markers and/or paint. Using a piece of green paper cut out a leaf. This leaf represents the original stage of the butterfly’s life. The next step is to glue or tape “butterfly eggs” to the bottom of the leaf. Eggs may be formulated by little paper circles produced by hole punches, or cut them yourself. Butterfly eggs may be white, green or yellow and are normally circular or oval. These ought to be clustered on the undersurface of the leaf.

Use another (perhaps darker) shade of green paper in the shape of a caterpillar. Decorate the caterpillar with the markers. Wiggle eyes may be applied if desired.

Use a brown piece of paper to cut out a pupa (like a cocoon), decorate it.

Next invent the butterfly wings by folding a colorful piece of paper in half and cutting a heart shape (without the point) out of it. Make the body of the butterfly out of a darker color paper. Have fun embellishing the butterfly wings.

Staple, tape or glue the string to the spiral paper plate and attach all of the butterfly’s life’s stages!

Ocean Project

Unique arts & crafts projects are fun and interesting for children, in particular when sea life is incorporated. Cup of Fish is a fun, colorful project any child will enjoy, and they will be competent to eat it, too!

For this project you’ll need: blue jello, clear plastic cups, gummy fish and an appetite. Make the jello as per the directions on the box; fill the cups to with regards to halfway, store away in the refrigerator for regarding an hour (they need to set only partially). Put a few of the gummy fish inside the jello before it has set completely. Complete the setting routine in the refrigerator, then enjoy! This may also be done with Popsicle molds, as well as a huge punch bowl. An edible aquarium!

Holiday Project

Unique arts & crafts projects may be used for holidays and special occasions as well. The Festive Napkin Ring may be used anytime there is a particular gathering for family and friends. Items necessitated are felt, (one ought to be green and the other may be any color), scissors, and a pencil. Create a template for each piece required for the ring. One looks like a huge dog bone, and the other two are four-petaled flowers, one small, one medium sized. Using the templates, trace around the felt then cut. Make a little slit in the flower shaped felt pieces only. The green felt must be applied for the more prominent of the flower shaped pieces. Slip the green piece onto the bone piece, and then slip the other flower shape inside the green piece. This gives rise to a blossomed flower effect. Slip the other end of the bone piece through the two flower pieces, completing the circle or ring. Grab a napkin, insert into the ring and you’ve got yourself a festive napkin holder!

The use of orange subsections for craft intents is a centuries-old tradition. Their wondrous scent and natural aspect add warmth to any craft. You may make your own dried orange slices at home by following these directions and then use in your next craft project.

A dehydrator may work rather well for this. The simplest method to arid out an orange, or any fruit would be to work with a dehydrator. These are employed as a tool to keep feed edible by exhaustively drying it. You may arid out the orange slice and use it on a crafting project. Use a dehydrator on orange ¼” in length to arid them rapidly and without delay and to help preserve the finelooking orange color. It will arid once you follow the dehydrator directions. The whole drying routine for the slices ought to require in the range of 6 to 10 hours time. (Make sure your dehydrator is set to ‘fruit’ for best results.)

Make use of the oven. You may also use your oven to arid the orange. It’s the nearby alternate for a dehydrator if you don’t have one. Cut your oranges into quarter inch slices in order to obtain moisture from them. Make sure you don’t squish the orange. Just use a paper towel to blot up any orange juice. If you want to undertake this, sprinkle a little amount of cinnamon onto each orange prior to drying it, this will provide a nice amount of further and added aroma. Also don’t forget to place them in lemon juice to add color.

After you have finished preparing your orange slices, put them on the center rack of your oven. The orange will have a burnt side if you implement a baking sheet. When the orange slices have been arranged in the oven, fetch the oven up to 275 degrees, for a amount of time of an hour. Reduce the heat to 225 degrees for an further and added 120 minutes. Routinely check on the orange slices to make sure they are okay. They will arid rapidly and without delay with the following method. You may remove extra moisture which makes the drying procedure quicker by most times opening up the oven. Get the dried orange slices from your oven after 3 hours. While they may seem a little moist in the center, they will carry on drying as they cool down.

Capture the sun’s energy. If you live in a warm climate, consider yourself lucky! You may arid orange slices outside rather of in the oven. You only need an old screen from a window. Slice the oranges into quarter inch wedges and place them flat upon the screen. Use a paper towel to remove excess juice. Next, lift the screen above ground level to grant air for free air circulation. You need to be sure that your screen is located in a bright, sunny spot. You flip the oranges regarding once each hour, however, you might do it more or less depending on how sunny it is. It will take four to six hours to arid orange slices in this way.

I am an experienced screen printer of ALL phases in the industry. So in good conscious I have to ask YOU to BEWARE. Entry level screen printing systems are many and THIS is the OLDEST’ slowest and least accurate type I have come across. NO…I do not own one made by THIS company(in 2011)but I did have one identical to this method (in 1976!!!). The ‘Leaf’ press(as it is known)had some major weak points but the one the is the only real reason you need to not buy into it, is that is has NO micro registration capability. Now…if you think that PROS need micro tuning(and we do)with all the skills we have…do you think YOU(the novice)won’t need it? Yes you will. Sooner…not later. I would never even consider ANY press from any mfg that did not have Micro tuning. it IMO is a huge red flag to their lack of knowing anything about screen printing. Once YOU learn a few things(maybe a week or less after you buy a leaf press)you will wish you had not.
There ARE better systems for less money…but even if youi spend more….you and a good start in SP is worth it.

Next ‘red flag’: All those marketing such nonsense follow it up by showing and telling you that a heat gun is a good way to cure ink in tees. If you believe that, then I want to sell you an absolutely Awesome heater for your home(hold on a minute while I go grab a hot potato out of the micro wave for you!) Yes…heat guns ARE that crazy to use for SP. I could go on…but my time is worth more. So is yours.

but what do I know…I only have 30 years experience on/with anything and everything in screen printing. And screen printing reality is NOT this item.

If you have ever stitched a felt applique stocking then you surely know that it takes many, a heap of hours to cut out and stitch all those pieces. The outcome of all that work is a heirloom masterwork that will be cherished by it is owner. But how do they take care of it so that it will last for numerous Christmases?

First of all they will have to store it flat, wrapped in assorted layers of white tissue paper away from sunlight. We suggest designating a storage tube distinctively for Christmas stockings. Put extra tissue paper among each tissue wrapped stocking so that the beads will not be crushed.

According to Bucilla’s instructions that come with the kits, the stockings may be hand washed in cool water (86F) with mild dish washing liquid. Take care not to twist or wring when you are gently washing the stocking. Do not use beach or fine washables detergent. Dry flat. Do not tumble dry, and do not arid clean. I do not commend washing unless perfectly necessary.

If the stocking will be for a child, try to keep them from playing with it because synthetic felt has a tendency to pill. Of course they may hold it and use it as their particular stocking. Just try to keep them from using it as a hat daily of the month of December.

And at long last consider going one step further by sewing a lining for the stocking. It is in truth rather simple to do, and well worth the effort. A lining will add strength and a professional touch to the stocking. Choose a fabric like polyester satin to keep from adding too much bulk.

There is not one thing like a good yarn, so the story goes! All jokes aside, learning any skill or craft takes time, time you must be devoting to finding out all in regards to it.

To learn knitting is no different. Just getting the hang of keeping both needles at once, or working with a cable needle, or just perfecting your knit stitch and purl stitch, may take a long time.

And that’s ok; not a single soul said you have to recognise it all immediately.

Along the way, however, it is fun to delve into all the secondary ideas and information. Knowing just a little bit with regards to yarn may go a long way!

This article will walk you through *6* yarn secrets; intrigues for even the “craftiest” of knitters.

Secret #1: Always recognise what you are knitting with! This may sound too simple to be true, but you would be surprised.

Most projects will be knit with “classic” yarns. These are worsted or sport weight, wool, and cotton. All the rest are plainly variations on a theme.

If you have a hankering for something fun fur or ribbon-y, eyelash, or wispy lace; save that thought until you recognise knitting well!!

Secret #2: When buying yarn, always buy by yardage, and not by weight. This is one I didn’t even know when introductory starting out!

Yarns, like people, are of dissimilar weights; they may vary all over the place. But, it is the length that is essential with each skein; it will have to be distinctly marked and if it is not, then ask for that information.

Secret #3: Always, always, buy sufficient yarn at one time, for your knitting project! Do not suppose to go back to the store two months from now and find the precise color yarn you purchased initially.

Yarns are dyed in lots, and when a yarn store runs out of a peculiar color, they will order it again; but, the dye lot will be dissimilar and the subtlety in the color will be very apparent; take my word for it!

So, if you want that pink sweater to look uniformly pink, just buy the yarn, all the yarn!

And check to see that all the “lot #’s” are the same. And, I will always buy that extra skein, and have never been disappointed.

Secret #4: Don’t know what to do with all those odd- balls? (And I’m not talking with regards to your relatives, now.)

Well, let’s see, you could knit a few placemats, baby washcloths, mittens, coasters, bookmarks, Christmas ornaments, sachets, doll clothes, knitted pins or imagination little handbags, buttons, flowers, tea cozies, table runners, fluffy wristbands (little girls love these!), a cat collar or dog sweater, a scarf or afghan jumble, and if you may think up anything else, knit away!

Secret #5: Get organized! This is one of my best- held secrets. Only, not anymore.

Record all of your knitting projects. A simple spreadsheet, or word processor, will do the trick.

Save your labels! This way, when you are finished with your knitting, you may input all the necessary selective information in order to knit it again, or pass it along to a fellow knitter!

There are even software programs available now, like Needle Trax, to help you keep all your knitting projects organized with simple point and click technology.

Secret #6: A true knitter, like any good craftster, always has too much of everything, and not sufficient space to hold it all!

Thank goodness for plastic, I always knew there was a intent for it.

Storage bins come in numerous varieties, so visit your local shops or even eBay for the best prices around.

Once you have sufficient storage bins available, then you may sort to your hearts’ content! And you will love sentiment so harmonious!

Harmony begets creative thinking each time; so with these *6* yarn secrets, there is no pardon anymore for not being your knitting best.

May your knitting basket always be full!
